My son is 15 today......

and he is not here to celebrate with us :-(

He is having fun, I'm sure, at camp. He left last week for two weeks of survival training with the Air Cadets. He is in the bush for much of the two weeks. I mailed a birthday card last week, so hopefully he will get it tomorrow when he come to base camp.

Devin and I are so proud of Luke! He is quite the young man. He loves his brothers and his sister and is a great help to them. He is still not too old to want to be around his mom and dad. LOL!

Right now, airplanes are a huge interest as is anything to do with geography. Becoming a pilot is his dream. We believe he can accomplish his dream!

Anyway, I thought I'd post a few of my favorite pictures of my big boy when he was not quite so big :-)

This one was taken when he was ready to leave on his trip last week.

We love you Luke! Hope you're having a GREAT day!!

Build me a son, O Lord, who will be strong enough to know when he is weak, and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid, one who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat, and humble and gentle in victory." -- Author: Douglas MacArthur

Some new layouts

I did this one for one of our Sisterhood of Scrap challenges. We had to use a book title as the title of a layout.

This one is also for a Sisterhood challenge -- use felt on a layout. I cut the title letters from felt using my Cuttlebug. The sketch is by one of my "sisters" - Sarah Wilson.

Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday to my girl....

Can't believe Jessica is eleven! She is certainly growing into a fine young lady. We are so proud of her!

Thought I'd post a few pics of her through the years:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Sweetheart! We love you!!
