Here are my creations -- so far, still working on it :-)

This week's layouts..

Can you believe I actually RODE the Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland!? It's a good thing I did this ride FIRST or I might have changed my mind :-) The kids went on it more than once, but once was fine for me LOL!

My BIG boy learning to roll :-)

This was a challenge to use NO cardstock and at least 3 different patterned papers. I used some Creative Memories pp.

A double-pager where I used a sketch and then flipped it for the second page.

Look at my sweetie -- all bundled up! Luke was only 4 months old here, and had a trip home to Newfoundland before Christmas.

Happy Birthday to....

my sweet boy, Timothy!
Timothy turned 14 on Tuesday. Just now getting time to post his birthday greetings. He is our quiet boy, but he can be brave when needed. He is so thoughtful and understanding. He loves to bake and cook. Just yesteday, he made supper for us -- Sloppy Tim's (kinda like sloppy joe's). He loves anything spicy, so he used lots of chili pepper and cayenne pepper. Great meal, though!

Here are a few photos of Timothy through the years :-)

Layouts and Christmas projects

I've been busy working on layouts. Here are a few I have done:

I've also done some advent calendars. We're looking forward to December 1st! :-)
Stacey at Paper Popsicles showed us how to make this little project. My daughter helped me make it. So much fun! Of course, I did all the treat-filling. Can't wait for the little surprises all month!

This little one I found some ideas online. Didn't see a tutorial until I had it made. LOL! Anyway, it's not difficult to do. Google "matchbox advent" and you should be able to find lots of examples and tutorials.

Benjamin's cake

Benjamin with his cake. He wanted a bunch of stick people looking at a big banner. This is what I came up with using his idea. Note: there are only 10 candles even though he turned 11 :-) Jessica counted wrong!

Now we have the extra candle added.

"Who loves The Apprentice? Ever wonder how it would play out on a scrapbooking forum? Well, now is your chance! Join us starting Monday November 10th (sign ups will remain open until the 14th) on the Lovebug forum to play along.

The game will run through the New Year so lots of time for fun, inspiration and competition.

This event will encompass a variety of things, including challenges, posting, shopping, games etc etc...maybe even some blogging if you choose. All current, past and new members are welcome to join in the game and as always, no judging will take place. Everyone has an equal opportunity of becoming "THE APPRENTICE"

How will this be like "The Apprentice"? * it will have tasks that you can complete or choose not to complete * it will have prizes * it will be challenging and fun!

How will it be different from "The Apprentice"? * absolutely no one will be fired * there won't be any cut-throat antics, (but there will cutting of paper and there will be silly antics, of that I am sure!) * I have way better hair than the Donald"

If you join us, please sign in and give my name as a referral -- we'll both get points for it! Hope to see you there!

My baby is eleven!

Our youngest turned eleven yesterday. What a special boy he is! He is certainly a delight to be around -- always something to smile or laugh about :-) He is a very huggable and loving child, and he is very sensitive. Benjamin is very interested in numbers and basically anything to do with science. He has a great knowledge of trivia. We just love him to pieces!

He opened his gifts at breakfast and hugged and thanked everyone after each gift/card. Lunch was his choice - quesadillas. His cake? Well, he prides himself on remembering every birthday cake since his first. This year he showed me a drawing of his idea. I expanded it a bit and came up with something her loved. I'll post a photo of the cake later -- had to use an old digital and our new camera is still at the shop!

For now, enjoy a few photos of Benjamin through the years.

What a sweet boy!

Always curious...

His 3rd birthday cake

With a twinkle in his eyes!

The cutest reindeer, ever!

Funny!

Ho, ho, ho!

Loves extremes and is a risk-taker!

Watching the ducks at Bowring Park.

With his Great-Grandpa. He spent most of his visits this summer, cuddling with Grandpa.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Benjamin!! We love you!
