FOTO challenge.....

at Sisterhood of Scrap. The challenge was to show ways that you have used multiple photos on a page. Here are some that I have done:

I've been tagged :-)

... by Laura. I think this is a first for me!

OK, so the deal is I need to tag 7 people as well & write down 7 facts about myself.

Here are the rules:
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself: some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them).
4. Let them know they've been tagged by leaving a comment at their blogs

sketch layouts

I've been working on some sketch challenges from Sisterhood of Scrap. Here are three that I did this weekend.
This layout was based on a sketch by Patti Hutchinson. I changed some things around as I wanted the title on the side rather than the top, and I used smaller photos on the side.

Here's one using a sketch by Lora Brinkman:
Lastly, one based on a sketch by Chris Greiser:

New size of layout

Have you tried any of the 6x12 layouts? I've done a few this past week or so. Took me a while, but I finally dared to try a different size than my typical 12x12 :-) I kinda like the smaller layouts, but I'm definitely not switching sizes at this point in the game. I can see how the smaller 6x12 would work nicely with a particular album -- say a summer album or a birthday album. With all the photos I have, I need more room on a page for photos. With the 6x12, you can fit one 4x6 nicely with some embellishments thrown in, or use a couple of smaller, cropped photos.

Here are some that I have done recently:
